I Wish I Had Done Everything on Earth With You...

Tumble On Ovah

So. News of the day...I started a Tumblr. I know, I know. But, I'm becoming obsessed with animated .gifs (talk nerdy to me, right?)! I don't care--I think they're fun and I like the way people can capture little weird moments in movies/film that you may have never noticed. Who knows if I'll keep it going, but it's golden for now. SOCIAL MEDIA OVERLOAD!
Also, I'm hopping back on the crazy shredding train. Yesterday I ran 3 miles, biked 12ish, and got my sweat on with Jillian in da basement. As much as I want to slice her, it seemed as good a day as any to bring my laziness to an end as the Biggest Loser premiere was playing in all its DVR fabulosity. Yes, people, as Rafiki would say--"It is time!" (This is probably a good thing seeing how we've just acquired a brand new slow cooker/cookbook filled with delicious recipes like Chicken in a Pot and Another Chicken in a Pot. Chicken for erryone!!).

Hump Day!?

We're god thsnks.

Super long Labor Day weekend filled with many, many baked goods, nights out on the town, extreme iMovie making, and dabbles in deadly humpback cricket extractions. It was sooo nice to finally have a weekend to sit around and do/go wherever we wanted, whenever we wanted. Stuntin' like our daddies, or something...

Blonde on Blonde.
(P.S. I feel like this shirt makes an appearance in almost every photo I take. Anthro sales rack ftw, I guess!)

Look. We're actual adults! Plus, B-Rad came out to play, hooray!

"Umm, excuse me, do you ride the metro often?" Goodnight.

Can you feel the love?

Then, we encountered the most diligent cab company out there...

So helpful, so friendly. WE ARE HOME WITH JESUS!! God. So embarrassing.

Moving on. We spent a lot of the weekend whipping up the perfect Pumpkin Spice Latte as a farewell to summer. The Rancilio and I are slowly becoming friends again, especially with the addition of my sweet new thrift store "shot glasses."

Starbucks ain't got shit on us.

So there's a recipe for Blue Moon Cupcakes that has been floating all over Pinterest and I decided sit down and whip up this magic once and for all. Yes, these are beer-filled. No, they are not quite as magical as I anticipated (but I've never really met a cupcake I didn't like). I'm still trying to figure out why the icing decided to melt off the cake, but I'm betting it had nothing to do with the five (5!) cups of confectioner's sugar included in the mix...

Hayley was v. concerned and ready for any necessary clean up.

All in all, a pretty awesome 3.5-day weekend. Sad to see summer go, but pretty happy how fall (yes, September = Fall) is already shaping up. I'm ready for tailgates, tall boots, scarves, and a whole lot of coconut cappuccinos....

7/11. You Know What That Means...

...it's free Slurpee Monday!! With the weather clocking in at a brisk 97 degrees today, I'd say 7/11/11 couldn't arrive at a more perfect time. Walk, run, bike, swim your way to the nearest convenience store and get yourself some frozen-ice deliciousness.

Meanwhile, check out these brilliant discoveries of the weekend:

If you like coconut-flavored anything, you will like this. It's weirdly refreshing and sweet--the perfect afternoon treat.

We uncovered a digital camcorder this weekend and have started documenting everything. What's better than video footage of weekend escapades? Video footage set to the thrilling background music a la Nicki Minaj and/or Redneck Woman. Oh iMovie, how you'll revolutionize memories one editing tool at a time...

Salted Pretzel Shots

1/3 Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka
2/3 Hazelnut Schnapps
Salt

Lick wrist and apply salt. Lick salt from hand, shoot, enjoy! Chocolaty goodness for all.

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I survived my 40-mile bike ride and still had enough energy for a cookout. It's a W&OD miracle...

xoxo,
Hannah

Blake Lively is a Bitch

But damn she's hot. Seriously, I could look at her all day. So what if she's 22 and tall and blonde and got legs that go on forever and ever and a little tiny mole/beauty mark that sits perfectly on her chinny-chin-chin and has honey-tan skin and perfect teeth. Nobody cares.

So all morning I've had that stupid song,
"Beauty School Dropout" from Grease stuck in my head. Now you can too. Enjoy!

Moving on. Here are the Top 5 Things I'm thinking of purchasing as soon as I get my GD tax return. Follow closely.
-
1. Fucking bad to the ass Michael Kors watch.
-

-
2. This amazing Anthropologie dress that is just begging to be worn by yours truly, every day, for all of eternity mmm...
-

-
3. Delicious fragrance a la Tocca. Called Cleopatra. Sex in a bottle.
-

-
4. This
camera that I've been thinking of buying for ages but I'm waaaaay too cheap to actually cough up the dough.
-

-
5. One of
these. Or two. Ok, three, whatever (they're like potato chips... once you pop...)
-

-
Ok, so obvi I'm not getting that much back on my return. Whatever, a girl can dream. And dream and dream. Blahhh. I'm so ready for the weekend already. Cody comes back tomorrow, hip-hip-hooray and there's a secret celebration for Del's birthday downtown.

Plus, I've discovered an app on my stupid iPhone that actually holds some relevance/purpose/meaning to my life: Pocket Closet! Yes, like in the opening scene of Clueless when Cher is on her computer finding the perfect outfit!! Now I have that on my phone!! I've only waited years for something this magical to happen!

Life is good!
